Production week

This week Solway School has been practising the production like crazy they have practised it so much that all the characters know there part off by Harte. I'm not in the production but I watch it while they do it. And I think everyone should get a chance to watch it themselves because there are costumes that are mind blowing you will not want to miss this production so  you there

Hi my name is Jade I am a student of Mr Hornby and Miss Standish . This term we are learning about our Solar System.  The report that we are doing for our achievement books is about the Sun. Did you and know that the Earth has magnetic field around it and that Space i a silent place, So you would have to have really good eyesight because if an asteroid came zooming up to you would be shriveled.

My favourite Planet is Jupiter because it starts with a j and so does my name and it's the biggest

Yesterday we went to cozmodom at our school hall.The mans name was Mr Ron fisher. Mr Ron Fisher was a person that nearly new everything a bout space he was a very knowledgeable person. It is taking 11 years to go and have a look in space and some people who are in space now they have found and oval egg thing.Every second they are getting closer and closer to it. we loved having Mr Ron Fisher  talk to us

Hi im Emma A and im very interested in your gonoodle program when i first saw the name i thought it was a joke but then i read what it said and i showed Mr hornby and we visited the sight its really cool Now i have a sight for you to visit its called http://illuminations.nctm.org/Activity.aspx?id=4134 it looks a bit funny but its a multiplication game its really cool and its really good for learning.

I bet your thinking "huh? what is GoNoodle ?' well GoNoodle is a site where you can do lots of dances and exercises. Miss Gaskin signed up and we do it everyday! So show this to Mr Hornby and hopefully you can see how cool it is!

Charlotte's question number 2

Sorry that I didnt explain that much what silent ball was. Silent Ball is when you hop on chairs and throw a ball to your classmates. If you miss or fail to catch the ball, the person who the ball was thrown to is out. Hopefully you can play it.

Hi its  Charlotte again i was look though and i found that Tilly answered my questions thank you also i saw that number 5 Said we play silent ball a lot can you please tell me what silent ball is i know its a game but how do you play it? also i have never heard about silent ball.

P.S What are excursions? i noticed you said we love to go on excursions as a class 

I was looking on the blog and I found some questions that Charlotte wanted us to answer. I have shown Miss Gaskin the questions and we can answer them! Here are the answers.

1. No we are not lonely because we are quite close. We work together at nearly everything we do as a class or a school!

2. Well we love going swimming also Charlotte and we love going on excursions as a class!

3. Yes we do have a swimming pool. The shallow end is 90 cm deep and the deep end is only 1 m deep!

4. We have axolotls and we have a Chertsey Bear and the winning house gets to put a T-Shirt on Chertsey Bear. The T-Shirt is the colour of their house

5. We play silent ball alot.

Hey Cherstey its that time again when i talk to you so heres a few questions i have for you please awnser them as best as you can ok lets go!

1. Hows it like in a two classroom school does it make you feel lonly or anything?

2. What do you most enjoy about school i love swimming and art! :)

3. Do you have a swimming pool if not mabey if you want one you could get the whole school to save up for one maby i know it sounds like alot but im trying to help as best as i can with ideas.

4. At Kauri we have a two goldfish and a stuffed bear called Carlos and loads of catterpillars do you have any toys or animals at your school?

5. Whats your favourite sport mine is soccer i have been playing for 4 years
